Salvation

SALVATION are one of the original Leeds based post-punk/goth bands. Formed in 1983, they released their first 12” on Merciful Release - the SISTERS OF MERCY’s label. SALVATION went on to become regular visitors to the Indie Top 20 alongside their contemporaries: NEW MODEL ARMY, SKELETAL FAMILY and RED LORRY YELLOW LORRY. In 1990, they signed to US label IRS and released the SASS album. In March 2020, SALVATION played 4 shows as Special Guests to THE MISSION in France and Belgium. The last one of these European dates was recorded and released as SALVATION’s first ever Live album: ‘We Gave You Diamonds…Live at De Casino!’ on the TIMESLIP label.
