Seymour Mace Does Things With Stuff
It's better than watching people do things. It's better than paying to watch people do things. I was doped up on watching other people do things. I forgot how to do things I've just remembered. Look what I done!
Seymour Mace
Despite looking like a slightly dishevelled and demented geography lecturer, he is a brilliant comedian. He crackles with childish energy, getting caught in flights of fancy and going off on strange tangents, but never loses sight of the gag. A performer worth the admission price alone. He was a regular in BBC2's Johnny Vegas sitcom 'Ideal', a former City Life Comedian of the Year and Breakthrough Act at the North West Comedy Awards. Like a truly bizarre hybrid of Harry Hill, Half Man Half Biscuit and Viz comic, Seymour is a teller of extremely tall tales and High Priest of the terrifically twisted one-liner. He was also victorious in the Cup A Soup Comedy Challenge. You may mock such a curiously named title but the prize money was 10 grand. 'Leaves his crowd uplifted, entertained and laden with charity shop-bought gifts...Warm, original and weird' (Edinburgh Festival Guide) 'Breathtaking... a surreal performance, he had the audience in the palm of his hand from start to finish' (Evening Chronicle).
