The Extras

The Extras Rhythm and Blues Band was formed by guitarist Dave Woods and bassist Joan Bimson in the early part of 2010. Darren Lee on vocals and Mark Prescott on drums complete the line up. Musically, the band is heavily influenced by the London rhythm and blues scene of the mid seventies. The Extras are guitar driven; the sound is edgy and aggressive and the performance is energetic and passionate. The combination of punk-like enthusiasm with musical expertise creates a uniquely exciting sound, and a dynamic live show.

Aethelreds Bluesmen

Premier Rhythm n Blues Band in the North West featuring the award winning harp playing of Ian Boyle, Bill Hodgson Guitar, rock solid Brian Elmer, bass, the drums of Terry Stirling, and keys by Robbie Cross. The band has supported most of the major blues artists touring in the last 18 months, they are as good as you'll get.
