'Barbara Nice - ordinary housewife extraodinaire - has given up the domestic bliss of Tupperware and Poundstretcher shops for the unpredictability of the comedy circuit (her husband thinks she's at the bingo).

No audience is too rowdy for her to handle - she's already raised five teenagers. She believes in bargains, Take a Break magazine, and getting the most from life. Oh and Stage-diving! This well observed comedy character is so likeable that she draws even the most cynical of audiences and takes them along for a ride.

Barbara Nice ordinary house wife extraordinaire is the comedy creation Of Janice Connolly B.E.M. Like Barbara, Janice is twinned with Stockport and Kings Heath, Birmingham. TV credits include playing God fearing bar maid Holy Mary in Channel 4 Peter Kay's 'Phoenix Nights', Coronation Street and Man Like Mobeen.

Radio includes 'Barbara Nice' for Radio 2 with her husband Ken played by John Henshall. Live theatre credits includes 'Tartuffe' and 'Anita and Me' at Birmingham Rep, plus 'A Taste of Honey' at the New Vic Stoke and Panto with Lily Savage in Manchester and Bristol. Barbara was a semi-finalist in ITV's Britain's Got Talent.
