Following her chart-topping rock album GRIT, The Kut returns this summer with a new single, Sevens, out today!
The drop precedes festival appearances at Isle of Wight, Glastonbury, Clarence Shockwaves 2025 and Green Gathering, revealing a fresh, uplifting direction in her evolving repertoire.
Sonically soaring and expansive, Sevens meshes euphoric electronic house with driving rock bass. It's a track that feels like a summer festival, and glides into new musical territory for the British multi-instrumentalist.
Released via Criminal Records label, Sevens hints at a new chapter in The Kut's genre-spanning sound, or at least tests the waters towards that on the summer stage.
The Kut
The Kut is a British solo-artist & double award winner in the 2022 UK Songwriting Contest. Described by Classic Rock as a "refreshing blast of female-driven punk-pop swagger" her second album 'GRIT' released to Number 1 Rock Chart status in July. Recently supporting high-voltage US rockers, Electric Six, on their UK & Ireland tour dates, The Kut and her all-star line up have been announced to support iconic Japanese pop-punk band, Shonen Knife, in April. Expect a ton of empowerment with a double dose of punk-rock spirit. For Fans of Electric Six, Shonen Knife, L7, Nirvana, Hole, Lunachicks, Deftones, Incubus and Placebo.
