Wolverhampton's Wulfrun Hall is the smaller concert venue within The Halls complex, alongside the Civic Hall, with a capacity of 1,316.

Both venues closed for a £38m refurbishment between 2016 and 2023 and are now managed by AEG Presents.

The Wulfrun has two levels: stalls, and balcony. The stalls may be seated or standing depending on the show and the balcony is all seated.

Getting there

By car

The Wulfrun Hall is located in Wolverhampton city centre, and any of the car parks within the ring road are nearby. We'd recommend using Fold Street or Stafford Street car parks which currently require payment using the RingGo mobile app. The Civic Centre multi-storey car park is conveniently located opposite close to venue, but be prepared for queues when the show finishes.

By train and Metro

Wolverhampton railway and metro station is ten minutes walk from the venue. St George's metro station is also ten minutes walk.

Eating and drinking

Drinks in the Wulfrun Hall are expensive, but there is a wide choice of pubs in the city centre to visit before the show. The Giffard Arms (5 minutes walk on Victoria Street) is a very popular rock pub which is open until late for a post-show drink. If you're a fan of real ale, we'd recommend The Lych Gate Tavern (2 minutes walk, just off Queen Square) or The Posada (Lichfield Street, 5 mins).

For casual dining, the Lupo Lounge (Dudley Street, 10 minutes walk) offers an extensive menu including burgers and tapas. Other nearby restaurants include The Khans, serving fine Asian food (2 mins walk on Cheapside, booking recommended), Made in Thai (Darlington Street, 5 mins) and Rosso e Nero (Darlington Street, 5 mins).

Hotels

The Premier Inn city centre and Novotel are approximately 20 minutes walk away.

Accessibility
