Heads South is a 5 piece Latin Jazz band that mixes Cuban and Latin rhythms with distinctive melodies in a thrilling array of classic and original tunes” “Cool, cultured and exhilarating” The Musician. “Impeccable musicianship” The Times. “Superb” Latin Jazz USA. Featuring internationally renowned trumpeter Steve Waterman on trumpet, bandleader and composer on John Harriman piano & organ, Venezuelan bassist Adolfredo Pulido, Cuban percussionist Chino Martell Morgan congas, bongos, cajon, guiro, and Buster Birch drums, timbale, castanets, frame drum. Heads South was winner of the UK Jazz Services National Touring award and sponsored by the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama for a national tour of Wales.
