Just Like Clay

Following a spontaneous collaboration at Glastonbury 2023, Good Habits (UK) and The Trouble Notes (DE) realized their unique blend of strings and energized indie-pop songwriting had potential. This sparked the creation of ‘Just Like Clay’—an exciting new project launched with a bang during their residency at The BarrelHouse Ballroom (Totnes) in June 2024. They then charged into their first summer with momentum and joyous reception at Glastonbury 2024, Green Gathering, Purbeck Valley Festival, and more. Fronted by Bonnie Schwarz and Bennet Cerven’s vocals, violin, and cello, ‘Just Like Clay’ mixes classical/folk instruments in an indie-rock landscape. Florian Eisenschmidt’s electric guitar soundscapes and Peter’s mesmerizing dual performance on accordion and drums elevate their sound. Their captivating songwriting and virtuosic performances aim to lead listeners on a cathartic journey, tackling self-doubt and championing togetherness.
