Bruce Adams (trumpet/flugelhorn) remains one of the giants of UK Jazz, after many decades as one of the most in-demand frontmen in jazz. Tonight he?s with us as the guest of The Martin Dale Quartet, one of the southwest?s most in-demand jazz quartets, led by Martin Dale on saxophone.

Bruce Adams is a brilliant trumpeter from Scotland who is equally at home in a big band or with a small ensemble. Bruce has worked with a diversity of artists - BBC Big Band, Benny Carter, Jools Holland's Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, Scott Hamilton, Jack Parnell, Ted Heath Orchestra, Kenny Baker, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Bob Hope and Freddy Starr to name a few! His stream of jokes, anecdotes, and hilarious observations reflect an early immersion in show-biz, and a keen eye and ear for the many quirks of human nature.

Popular jazz saxophonist, working in the South West and around the UK, playing at jazz festivals and such prestigious venues as Ronnie Scott's, Pizza Express and The Concorde CLub. His versatility, passion and energy show in his ability to play Latin, swing, blues, modern - in fact anything from Bach to Bebop and back again!
