Headlining the festival is the incredible singer, songwriter, and pianist Liane Carroll, performing with her trio featuring bassist Roger Carey and Russell Field on drums. Liane is a multi-award-winning talent, with two BBC Jazz Awards for Best Vocalist and Best of Jazz. Her shows are legendary, combining a voice passionate enough to move a mountain to tears with a wicked sense of humour.

Liane Carroll Trio

One of the finest contempory vocalists on the jazz scene, she has been performing professionally as a pianist and singer from the age of 15. A regular at Ronnie Scott's, she provides an astonishing blend of the jazz standard repertoire with heartfelt passionate soul and a breathtaking rhythmic intensity.

Dave Jones' Funk Affinity

Bassist Dave Jones leads this super funky line up featuring some of the UK’s finest jazz musicians including Mike Outram – guitar, Chris Eldred – keys, Tristan Mailliot – drums, Demi Garcia Sabat – percussion plus special guest Sandra-Mae Lux – vocals and tenor sax. Collectively this wonderful group of musicians represent some of the finest and most versatile musicians on the scene. This concert will explore Dave’s arrangements of classic jazz funk and latin tunes plus original tracks from vocalist Sandra-Mae Lux. Expect a dynamic performance steeped in the blues and soul with spacious grooves, blistering highs and improvising of the highest level with tunes from George Duke, Airto Morriera, Patrice Rushen, Angela Bofill, Herbie Hancock and Steve Wonder.

Chris Corcoran

Chris Corcoran is one of the most sought after guitarists on the UK blues and music scene. He has played with West Weston's Bluesonics, and his solo sound is in a class of his own and reviews have likened his style to Blues legend BB King.

Emily Tran

Emily Tran is a pianist from South-East London inspired by the likes of Bud Powell, Oscar Peterson, Monk and Herbie Hancock. Developing her playing with Tomorrow's Warriors, she has played many venues in London such as The Queen Elizabeth Hall, Ronnie Scott's and Brick Lane Jazz Festival.
