Get ready for a fabulous night of music featuring the legendary drummer, Bev Bevan. In 2017 Bev was inducted into the Rock’n’rollHall of Fame, having notched up 50 million plus album sales with a music career that spans 60 years, performing with the likes of The Move, ELO and Black Sabbath.
Bev now plays drums with Quill – a band he has long been a fan of. Following the great success of their album “Midland Beat” Quill will be playing a selection of songs from that album, paying tribute to the amazing talent that has come from the Midlands music scene – Duran Duran, The Moody Blues, Black Sabbath, Slade, Steve Winwood, The Move, ELO, etc.
Enjoy Quill’s unique renditions of such classics as Blackberry Way, Go Now, How Does It Feel and Don’t Bring Me Down to name but a few.
If you’re not already a fan of Quill you will be after seeing what promises to be a superb night of music.
Quill
Celtic pop rock band - 'arguably the busiest Midlands based touring group' - fronted by two very attractive fiddle playing lasses. Over the past four decades Quill have reinvented themselves a number of times and they are about to do it once again! Their strong vocal harmonies and the artistry of violin and guitar is a key feature of their music. Quill not only captivate and entertain, but also offer a moving, yet truly dynamic and varied show equal to any first-class act, and will include additional guest artists and musicians. 'Quill have continued to perform their outstanding brand of folk rock over the last four decades' (Tony Collins, Birmingham Evening Mail).
