Cheryl Baker and Jay Aston – two names that are iconic in Eurovision history – once members of the Eurovision-winning group, Bucks Fizz, now known as The Fizz!
Mike Nolan has recently retired but Cheryl and Jay have been joined by Matthew Pateman and Nikk Mager.
Matthew rose to fame as the lead singer of the 1990’s boy band, Bad Boys Inc, and Nikk was a member of the boy band, Phixx, after appearing on Popstars: The Rivals, in 2002. Both bands had great chart success.
With a string of over 20 hits under their belts, including their No. 1 Hits, “Land of Make Believe”, “My Camera Never Lies” and, of course, “Making Your Mind Up”, The Fizz continue to astound their audiences with their vocal prowess and superb entertainment value.
The past few years have been incredibly busy, both on stage and in the studio. They have performed at festivals and 80s weekends all over the country, plus recorded four albums with the legendary Mike Stock of Stock, Aiken and Waterman fame.
Don't miss the opportunity to dance like its 1985!
The Fizz
Bucks Fizz became one of the UK's biggest pop acts after winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1981 with their famous skirt-ripping dance routine. Their song, Making Your Mind Up, went to number one in nine countries, and was followed by hit singles including My Camera Never Lies and Land of Make Believe. More than 30 years on, the original members of Bucks Fizz - Cheryl Baker & Jay Aston, are joined by founding member Mike Nolan and are still ripping skirts off to cheers from thousands of fans old and new.
