This month… Ulcers by Beth Mullen
Whilst friends around Lyn & Mark divorce for more trivial reasons, the married couple try to make sense of their daughter’s illness and they wrestle with the question – can a marriage survive an ill child?
Beth is a writer and actor hailing from Teesside. She’s currently developing several original sitcom ideas with Hat Trick. Beth has won four monologue slams, three of which were self-penned. She’s been shortlisted for BBC Voices and in 2024 was shortlisted for BOLD Playwrights and Mengerie’s Hidden Voices. Her television acting credits include Doctors, Afterlife (Netflix) and The Agency S2 (Sky). Writing credits include Writers Room – Byker Grove (Keal Productions) 2024 Writers Room – A Thousand Wasted Sundays (Script Compass). She is a SOHO writers alum.
