Richard Grainger

Singer songwriter and interpreter of traditional material, touring worldwide. With many albums to his credit, he is well known for his songs of Northern England and Maritime Songs which have ben covered by many folk and acoustic artists. His musical plays include Eye of the Wind (the tale of the explorer James Cook); The Journey Home - a rewrite of Homer's Odyssey and The Moorland Whalers - the story of the Yorkshire Whaling Industry.
