Zo Lief is the unique collaboration of musical and romantic partners Laura Chen (Dutch singer-songwriter, guitarist) and James Attwood (British multi-instrumentalist). Their music is marked by catchy melodic hooks and playful, poetic lyrics that render life and love through an alluring, cinematic lens. Zo Lief craft a kaleidoscopic sound that alludes a whimsical nostalgia. Collaging velvety, smoky vocals with fuzzy guitars and swirly synths, they bounce around the walls of psychedelia, dream pop, chamber pop, indie and garage rock. Performing live as a three-piece band, they bring their imaginative, retro-futuristic productions to life.
