Stone Branches

Formed in Southampton by close friends, Matt Bialas (vocals), Nick Burton (guitar), Ollie Hickson (guitar) the band began with a mutual appreciation for artists such as Palace, Coldplay, Foals and Radiohead. Later joined by Holly Barnett (drums) and Ashley French (bass) the group went on to release their debut EP ‘Mantra’ in December of 2022, receiving airplay on BBC Introducing. Their intricately crafted guitar melodies, stand out vocal hooks and captivating performance elevated the band through to the grand finals of the ‘Isle Of Wight – New Blood Competition’ against 5000 other entrants, where they were personally selected to win the ‘wild card’ prize by award winning London producer Dax Liniere.
