We’re buzzing to announce that Shiiine On Weekender returns to Butlin’s Skegness from 26th–29th March 2026 for another incredible weekend celebrating the very best in indie, dance and alternative sounds that shaped our lives.
Topping the bill for 2026 are three huge headliners guaranteed to have the Festival bouncing all weekend:
Embrace – one of the UK’s most beloved bands, bringing those huge anthems and emotional singalongs that define the Shiiine On spirit.
The Enemy – back and on fire, ready to tear the roof off with their raw, high-energy live show.
The Lightning Seeds – timeless tunes, pure euphoria, and guaranteed smiles all round.
And that’s just the start. Joining them across the weekend are a stacked lineup of legends and Shiiine favourites, including:
The Twang, The Magic Numbers, The Bluetones, Alabama 3, House of Love, Stereo MCs, Ned’s Atomic Dustbin and a very special reunion from Lo Fidelity Allstars, making their long-awaited return to the stage!
As always, the Shiiine On Weekender isn’t just about the music — it’s about the memories, the mates, and the moments. Expect live sets, DJs, pool parties, film screenings, exhibitions, and late-night club takeovers, all wrapped up in that unbeatable Shiiine atmosphere.
Since day one, Shiiine On has been a celebration of the soundtrack of our lives
Embrace
West Yorkshire's Embrace are one of the most recognisable bands that came from the upturn of popularity of indie-rock at the turn of the millennium. From stadium classics like the top ten hits 'All You Good Good People' and 'Come Back To What You Know' to their three number one albums, sold out arena shows and over two million album sales.

Lightning Seeds
Lightning Seeds are the brainchild of writer, singer, guitarist and producer Ian Broudie. Ian originally emerged from the post punk Liverpool music scene of the late seventies playing in the band “Big in Japan” which in turn led to him producing several bands starting with Echo & The Bunnymen. In 1989 Ian as Lightning Seeds released debut album ‘Cloudcukooland’ featuring the hit single ‘Pure’. Second album ‘Sense’ followed before the release of the seminal album ‘Jollification’ in 1994 which has so far sold nearly 1 million copies. In 1996 the iconic single ‘3 Lions’ for the England football team topped the charts many times over. That same year ‘Dizzy Heights’ and 1999’s ‘Tilt’ were released to critical acclaim before Ian returned to his producer roots. Ian soon began to develop hit albums for the likes of The Coral, The Zutons and many more.

The Enemy
From seemingly nowhere, in 2006 three very young musicians from Coventry emerged calling themselves The Enemy. Greeting the music scene with contempt and a two fingered salute to the trend setting elite, the band's competence to deliver stunning live performances has seen them share a stage with some of the biggest and greatest acts in the world including The Rolling Stones, The Sex Pistols, Oasis, The Manic Street Preachers, Ash, Paul Weller and the mighty Bon Jovi, spanning venues from their local Saturday sports club Folly Lane Football Club, where they performed one of their first ever gigs, to five performances at Wembley Stadium. The Enemy have never really been in vogue, they've always been the underdog, until their debut album crashed into the the UK top 40 at Number 1 and went on to go double Platinum, becoming the soundtrack for a new disaffected generation. Fast forward to today and The Enemy have matured, humbled and ripened into something far more complete and purposeful and become a well established act.

The Twang
Formed 2004 in Birmingham comprising of vocalist Phil Etheridge, bassist Jon Watkin, guitarist Stu Hartland and drummer ‘Grandmaster’ Ash Sheehan, The Twang are one of the seminal indie bands of the mid 00s. As they continue to carve their path in the indie music landscape, The Twang's legacy as trailblazers of British indie rock is firmly cemented, promising an exciting journey ahead for both the band and their devoted fans.
