About the show
Sheffield's two universities will be going head-to-head in over 80 events in a bid to take home the Varsity 2026 trophy. The annual sporting competition between Sheffield Hallam University and University of Sheffield has taken place every year since 1997 (minus one year for Covid) and is considered one of the largest varsity tournaments in the UK, featuring 15,000 spectators and 65 teams.
