Jon Richardson

The critically acclaimed comedian is currently a team captain on Channel 4's panel show '8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown'. He has been an Edinburgh If comedy nominee, and was the 2008 winner for best breakthrough act in the Chortle Awards. 'He's a gentle and ever-smiling anecdotalist who sees the world in a rather skewed way... consistently funny about life and its foibles... We leave the theatre feeling full of the joys of life' (The Arts Desk) 'So good he actually bends time' (Chortle) 'Jon Richardson is developing into a quietly sophisticated comedian who is at turns hilarious and disturbing and under no circumstances should you miss' (Daily Mirror) 'One of our most individual and interesting stand-ups' (The Times) 'Sublimely brilliant, stunning' (Time Out). Jon Richardson was named in Ents24's top 10 hardest-working comedians 2017.

Russell Howard

Russell Howard is one of our funniest and most successful comedians. The quick-witted, cheeky and wryly observant comedian first became known when he was appearing as a regular on BBC2's Mock The Week. He has had huge success in writing and starring in his own BBC show, Russell Howard's Good News. Russell Howard’s Good News is available around the world via a YouTube channel launched in 2014 – allowing fans to watch full episodes of the show (without piracy) in countries where the show wasn’t already broadcast – and has had over 11 million views and been watched in 180 countries (including North Korea and Vatican City). As part of his Round The World tour in 2017, Russell played 10 consecutive nights at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall, overtaking the record of 8 in a row jointly held by Frank Sinatra in the 70s and Barry Manilow in the 90s. Before this, the record for the most consecutive performances by a comedian was 6 nights, shared by legends Victoria Wood and Billy Connolly. 'Energetic, uncynical and, most importantly, very funny' (The Times).

Louise Young

Hailing from Newcastle, Louise Young has quickly become one of the brightest new names on the comedy circuit. She is a regular at clubs up and down the country including the Glee Clubs, Komedia, and The Stand. Louise has supported the likes of Jason Manford and Alan Carr on their nation wide UK and Ireland tours. In 2020, she was nominated for Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year, and the following year was nominated for Leicester Comedy Festival’s Best Festival Appearance. Louise was also a finalist in the Funny Women Awards in 2018. Louise has presented a weekly comedy radio show on BBC Radio Newcastle, and at the 2020 Gillard Awards won a commendation for Newcomer of the Year on the station. Louise also wrote and acted in Channel 4’s Original Comedy shorts on three sketches, one of which gained over five million views and went on to receive North East RTS award. As heard on BBC Radio 4’s Fred at The Stand, and soon to be seen on Comedy Central Live!
