Cambodia: Legacies of Conflict and Resilience
at Nomad Maison, Sheffield
2025 marks 50 years since the fall of Phnom Penh to the Khmer Rouge, and the start of the Cambodian genocide. This event brings together three artists - Dayanny So, Charles Fox, and Komarine Romdenh-Romluc - whose work engages with personal legacies of the conflict from different perspectives, and the rebuilding of cultural identity.
Together, they will reflect on experiences of the conflict and reckoning with its aftermath, migration, art as storytelling and remembrance, diaspora identity and belonging.
Audience members of all ages are also invited to join in a workshop led by Dayanny So, using Cambodian textiles.
