Steve Williams

Steve Williams appearing at this event

More topical than Trevor MacDonald, Steve is one of the tallest guys on the circuit and certainly one of the most original. His Welsh genes allow him to have a totally different aspect on life although he hasn't lost any of the traditional Welsh values, including their fondness for sheep. He has supported Lee Mack on tour, appeared on Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow and was nominated for a Chortle Award. Steve never fails to surprise and engage audiences with his hybrid of bizarre stories, larger than life physicality, spontaneous improvisation and skewed view of everyday life. 'Steve Williams has proven his lauders correct and come of age as one of Britain's best stand-up performers... effortless audience interaction, inventive and adaptable use of his material and some of the best natural improvisation you will see at the Fringe this year... an hour filled with a constant torrent of laughter' (Fest).

Sean Collins

Sean Collins appearing at this event

Sean honed his unique, storytelling style over 18 years. In 2000, his hard work and determination led to his receiving two prestigious Canadian Comedy Award nominations for 'Best Male Stand Up' and for his half hour 'Comic's Comedy Special' on CBC. Fuelled by the desire to play to a more international audience, Sean left Canada for the UK and, within the five years that he has resided in Britain, he has written and performed three highly successful Edinburgh Festival shows, receiving rare, five star reviews and one of only a few Best of Fest accolades.

Jonathan Elston

Jonathan Elston appearing at this event

Jonathan Elston is a fresh, punchy, gag-driven comic who combines sharp joke writing and quirky observations with a youthful likability that charms his audience and endears him to any room. However, as with many top comics, success means is Jonathan rarely to be found out of a coach or car. The carbon footprint that Jonathan has created since his career began is big enough to have destroyed a football pitch sized hole in the Brazilian rainforest!  Despite the havoc he is wreaking on the rainforests, Jonathan is steadfast in his focus and continues to be one of the most sought after young acts working the circuit. 'A young comic with incredible talent' (The Guardian).
