Romeo and Juliet

RoughCast Theatre are back with their outdoor performance of summer Shakespeare in the beautiful setting of St Clement’s Common.

This year, RoughCast are performing Romeo and Juliet, one of Shakespeare’s best-loved plays, about the star-crossed lovers from feuding families the Montagues and the Capulets.

A fast-moving production which captures the romance, drama and humour of the play, don’t miss this delightful and hugely popular family event.

Gates open at 12.30pm. Bring a picnic and blankets or low backed chairs to sit on, and dress for the weather.

Parking available at Blacksmith’s Cottage Nursery, Langmere Rd, Langmere. IP21 4QA. Blue Badge holders only may park on the Common.

A toilet will be available on the common and Blacksmith’s Cottage Nursery toilets will also be available to use.

This event is hosted by the Daphne Buxton Memorial Fund, a group of volunteers who organise events throughout the year for the local community.
