Pete Winwood
Pete Winwood is a Midlands-based indie folk rock singer-songwriter with a 20-year track record of crafting heartfelt, hook-driven original indie folk pop songs. Rooted in indie, folk, pop, and rock, Pete’s sound connects deeply with fans of indie folk music and live acoustic music in the Midlands. With multiple live performances on BBC Radio, including features on BBC Radio 6 Music, Pete has earned his place as a respected BBC Radio featured artist. Holding a degree in Popular Music, Pete brings authenticity, lyrical depth, and melodic energy to every performance, whether headlining grassroots music venues, playing at local music festivals, or supporting touring artists. His original songs—including “Wild Horses of London” featured on BBC Radio 6—seamlessly blend emotive storytelling with rhythmic indie folk rock arrangements. Fully insured and self-contained with professional gear, Pete is a familiar face in Midlands live music venues, curated nights, and UK indie music festivals.
