Andrew Bird
Watching The Young Ones with his brothers as an eight year old, at two in the morning on Comic Relief, he realised then that he wanted to be funny in some way. Relaxed and improvisatory, Andrew Bird is one of those rare comedians who makes friends with his audiences in an instant with his engaging mix of childhood stories and more recent anecdotes. He has supported Rhod Gilbert, Lee Hurst and Michael McIntyre as well as performing internationally. Lindsey Santoro
Naturally effusive and full of giddy joy, Birmingham’s Lindsey Santoro has emerged as one of the most original female voices to come out of the West Midlands, and is one of the best hidden gems on the comedy circuit. Finalist of the 2021 British Comedian of the Year competition, as well as semi-finalist at the BBC New Comedy Awards, Funny Women Regional finalist, Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year semi-finalist, and Leicester Comedy Festival Best Podcast Award Nominee for Biggest Idiot, Lindsey has become one of the country’s must book acts. Credits include Channel 4’s The Joy of Missing Out, BBC Radio 4’s Elephant in the Room with Sarah Millican, and she is soon to be seen on Comedy Central Live. Recently, Lindsey has been seen supporting Russell Kane and Joe Lycett on tour.

Carl Jones
After winning the Nottingham Comedy Festival ‘Newcomer to Comedy’ competition after just a handful of gigs, Carl has gone on to reach the semi finals of Amused Moose Laugh Off 2011, win both Manchester and Preston ‘Beat the Frog’ competitions at the first attempt and survived the dreaded gong at the Manchester Comedy Store. As a regular member of Nottingham’s top improvised comedy group ‘MissImp’, Carl can also be seen at their monthly residence at Nottingham’s ‘Glee Club’, bringing a unique brand of quick wit and occasionally rude, laddish humour to an otherwise enlightening and informative evening.
