Parade
at Progress Theatre, Reading
It’s the land of the free and the home of the brave, but so many are neither.
Based on true events, Parade tells the harrowing story of Leo Frank, a Jewish factory manager in 1913 Georgia,USA, wrongfully accused and convicted of the murder of 13-year-old Mary Phagan.
With a beautifully intricate score by Jason Robert Brown and direction by Jake Turnell-Willett, this musical is a searing examination of justice, prejudice, and resilience.
