Set against the backdrop of the September 11th attacks, Come From Away tells the remarkable real-life story of Gander, Newfoundland. When US airspace closed, 38 planes carrying over 7,000 stranded passengers landed unexpectedly in this small Canadian town. What unfolded was nothing short of extraordinary: the people of Gander opened their homes, shared their food, and offered unconditional kindness, forging profound friendships with strangers from around the globe.
