Known for his reflective, genre-defying artistry, Dan Whitehouse plays with styles from ambient, indie and electro to folk, while embracing the living poetry of the spoken word. Dan says, “I write folk songs, but not folk music.”
His acclaimed albums The Glass Age and Voices From The Cones explore the challenges of communicating in our screen-fixated society – while commemorating the rich history of the glassmaking community in the West Midlands. In A Night Of Glass, Dan takes us deep into the heart of glass, mining a wealth of emotions and ideas.
Dan Whitehouse is an award-winning UK artist living between Tokyo and Wolverhampton. Swedish multi-instrumentalist Gustaf Ljunggren is flying in from Copenhagen to join Dan for this show. Ljunggren also brings music from his latest album, Mikroklima.
