'Soul enthused indie pop'- Bugbear. The Stanleys are refreshing in their raw musicianship, unabashed in their teeth-gritting urgency. The 4-piece play classic guitar-driven indie music with a hint of punk, rock & Britpop. Not ashamed to dig into their local roots to play original music. Invading the space through to the lungs, a bottom-end signals each shift in pace with industrial-like precision timing. It is this sound that has earned them a great local following and seen them win the Track 21 Battle of the Bands competition.
