Frauds are back! After a little time away doing other things, the rocking two piece are back for a rare couple of shows! We’ll be hosting the lovely lads in both London and Oxford in September, and can’t wait for them to bring the noise!
A bit more info on the band here, direct from the horse’s mouth:
Frauds are a long-running two-piece alt-rock project that first emerged from South London (Croydon) in 2012. Over the years, they’ve released a handful of self-produced EPs and albums through British indie label Alcopop!, crafting a sound that shifts between punk, garage rock, and sharp, sarcastic lyricism—always with a distinct British identity.
Playful in nature yet big in sound, Frauds built a loyal cult following in the UK scene, coming up alongside and sharing stages with bands like IDLES, Mclusky, Future Of The Left, Ditz, JOHN, and USA Nails.
By 2025, life has taken the band in different directions—Mike relocated to Vienna with his partner in 2022—but rather than slowing things down, this shift has opened up new creative possibilities. Despite the distance, they’ve crafted a new album, which is now ready to be unleashed across Europe.
Support for both dates comes from London emo/noise rock/post hardcore gang Achers and Oxford post hardcore rockers Sinews. A lovely loud time guaranteed!
Frauds
Post-hardcore noise duo Chris (drums) and Mike (guitar) aka Frauds are wrapped in a Mclusky-esque chaos! The two-piece create songs that are packed with a fair amount of humour and venom. They want you to have fun. They want you to be angry at the general state of things.
