Secret Walled Garden Tours

Tours of the Walled Garden give you an opportunity to see the 4-acre site with 12 foot high walls and Head Gardeners Cottage built between 1783 – 1788.

Explore the work done by volunteers over the last three years to reclaim the site from the ravages of time and the encroachment of ivy and brambles, to grow flowers and vegetables once again.

The tour lasts just over 1 hour.

Meet at the flagpole by the Adventure Playground immediately to the right as you enter the Park by the vehicular access.
