The remarkable Lily Allen, whose new album ‘West End Girl’ has received rave reviews, has announced she will play her first dates for 7 years when she tours the UK in March 2026.
The show – Lily Allen Performs West End Girl – will see the singer/songwriter play her brand-new album in its entirety, in the order the songs appear on the record. Lily has chosen the theatre venues specially to showcase her new material. The tour concludes with two nights at The London Palladium.
For a London girl who kick-started her career on the now almost forgotten social networking site myspace, Lily Allen became a sensation. Her cheeky songs, down-to-earth lyrics and dramatic sense of fashion soon saw her climb out of Internet-based cultdom into mainstream commercial success, emerging with her iconic debut No 1 single ‘Smile’. Her 2006 debut album 'Alright, Still' combined pure pop with ska, reggae and hip hop influences and to date has sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide. Her follow-up 'It's Not Me, It's You' took in electropop, country and even jazz, scoring memorable hits including 'Not Fair' and the no.1 single 'The Fear'. Allen then took a music hiatus, launching her own clothes shop and raising a family, before returning to music with third album 'Sheezus', taking her in a more R&B and urban direction, and the critically acclaimed fourth album 'Shame' which earned her a Mercury nomination.
