Ensemble Augelletti, a BBC New Generation Baroque Ensemble (2023-25) designs programmes that tell stories around 17th and 18th-century music. Telemann described Bach's students as 'jewels that brightly burn'. This concert tells the story of Bach's students as they became 'jewels' and includes arrangments of his joyous instrumental music, alongside Telemann's stunning 'Paris' quartets and buoyant dances by Pisdendel and Fasch.
