Splicing avant-funk, dance punk, psyche rock and breakbeats, Hang Linton is a self-taught interdisciplinary artist based in Leeds who works in music, video and installation. Tipped by BBC 6 Music, the NME and the Guardian, Hang?s work explores otherness and rebels against clean aesthetics and capitalist structures. Care, community and collaboration are integral to their work. Tour support for Benefits on their recent UK tour, Hang Linton live shows are hypnotic and eclectic: full of charisma, fury and energy; bubbling with heart and soul. Their most recent single, BADBADBUTGOOD was released on Yard Act?s Zen F.C. label.

SOBORGNOST

Soborgnost is the main musical vehicle of speculative fiction writer and multimedia artist Jim Osman. Known for his electrifying live shows, Soborgnost creates sci-fi dance punk ? somewhere between vaporwave, minimal wave, disco dub, industrial, EBM, proto-house, drone and noise. Using a hardware sampler to emulate dub mixing, Soborgnost loops post-punk style basslines with chuggy, lo-fi beats. Warped analogue textures are added with cassette tape manipulation, electro-magnetic frequency transmitters, shortwave radio, harsh noise generator and dub sirens. A recent live show was described on Instagram as "eternal cosmic future psychedelic techno dub gnosis" which sums up Soborgnost pretty nicely. Totally awesome.

GIANT SPANDEX HEAD

Giant Spandex Head is a brand-new collaboration between electronic rap artist Giant Head and mysterious and prolific techno/house/glitch-pop producer Spandex. Modular synthesis, samplers and a microphone. We?re not totally sure what to expect, but we know it will be raw, real and fizzing with invention.
