The next LBRFC Comedy Night fundraising event will be on Thursday 16th October 2025, we will yet again have another fantastic line up - details to follow
After the fantastic and very popular previous comedy nights arranged by the excellent Lone Wolf Comedy Club, this will be another sell out, so book early to avoid disappointment.
Tickets can be also bought from the bar at the Rugby Club.
This is not a rugby club members only event. Everyone is welcome to come along and join in the fun.
The event doors open at 7pm.
The lounge bar will be open from 6pm.

Michael Fabbri

Andrew Bird
Watching The Young Ones with his brothers as an eight year old, at two in the morning on Comic Relief, he realised then that he wanted to be funny in some way. Relaxed and improvisatory, Andrew Bird is one of those rare comedians who makes friends with his audiences in an instant with his engaging mix of childhood stories and more recent anecdotes. He has supported Rhod Gilbert, Lee Hurst and Michael McIntyre as well as performing internationally. Angela Barnes
Before becoming a comedian, Angela worked in health and social care. In 2011, she won the BBC New Comedy Award and became a finalist at the 2011 Latitude Festival New Act of the Year competition. Since then Angela has become a regular on BBC’s The News Quiz, Newsjack and Mock The Week. She has also appeared on BBC Three’s Russell Howard’s Good News, Russell Kane’s Whistle Stop Tour (BBC Radio 2), and BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show. “Feels like a sure-fire bet the instant she utters her opening lines.” (The Scotsman). “The pace is fast, the material strong and the delivery perfect” (Chortle). “She’s just a gloriously down-to-earth, straight-talking and extremely funny comic” (The Guardian). Angela Barnes was #8 in Ents24's Hardest Working Comedians of 2018 list.
