This very special screening will be followed by a full show from Liam Fender and his band.
The project is produced and directed by Northeast Fuse and XL Creative Media. It is supported by National Lottery Heritage Fund and North East Combined Authority.
Liam Fender
Newcastle-based musician Liam Fender’s genuine, intuitive and articulate songs are proof that music truly can be a calling. “I haven’t chosen to do this,” he says. “It's just in my DNA.” If you’ve joined the dots between Liam’s surname and his place of birth you may think he’s onto something with his point about DNA, but his earthy, honest songs showcase an artist in his own right.
