About the show
The Annual Free Convention is a long-standing, fan-driven celebration of the legendary British rock band Free, known for their soulful blues-rock and the iconic hit "All Right Now." Held at the Cullercoats Crescent Club, this event brings together some of the UK’s most dedicated tribute acts and fans from around the world to honour the legacy of Paul Rodgers, Paul Kossoff, Andy Fraser, and Simon Kirke.
The Saturday ticket offers an extended program starting earlier at 6:00 PM. This is the "big night" of the convention, featuring a wider array of musicians and a setlist that spans the entire history of the band and its offshoots.
The Experience: A high-energy atmosphere with more bands and a celebratory "anniversary" feel. It’s the ideal choice for those who want to hear the greatest hits alongside deep cuts.

The Heartbreaker Collective & The Stealer: Returning for a second night to deliver high-octane performances.
Free At Last: A legendary tribute act in their own right, focusing on the later, more mature sound of the Free At Last album.
Hard Rock Company: Bringing a "modern punch" to the classics, this band often bridges the gap between Free and Paul Rodgers’ later work with Bad Company, ensuring the night ends on a massive, rocking note.
