Cret Trio

This dynamic trio is redefining the relationship between classical and world music with their impeccable musicianship.

The American based Cret Trio - Stephanie Zyzak (violin), David Yang (viola) and Clancy Newman (cello) - was recently formed to explore masterpieces in the relatively unheralded string trio repertoire, and is named after the modernist-classicist architect Paul Cret (1876 – 1945). Their inaugural season included recitals in Philadelphia and Boston. David Yang loves to share his passion for Schoenberg with his audiences. He is also the Artistic Director of the Ashburton Chamber Music Festival which takes place in July.
