About the show

Get ready to honour the vibrant legacy of football as we anticipate the 2026 World Cup. Join us for an unforgettable evening featuring Peter Shilton CBE, England's iconic goalkeeper, who famously faced Diego Maradona in the 1986 World Cup, marking the 40th anniversary of the notorious "Hand of God" moment.
With 125 appearances for the national team, Shilton is the most-capped male player of all time and has been at the centre of football history, experiencing the highs and lows of World Cups and thrilling nights at Wembley.
His remarkable career spanned over 20 years, from 1970 to 1990, during which he represented England in three World Cups (1982, 1986, 1990) and two European Championships.
