Brooklyn born writer/performer/producer/singer/songwriter Marla Mase, known for her gutsy, raw performance style and thought-provoking lyrics, has been a long-time beacon of artistic innovation on the NYC music and theatre scenes. Her vision is informed and illuminated by her gritty, poetic, and oftentimes humorous take on the human condition. She has performed for rapturous audiences from the Bowery to Beijing and has had her plays/rock operas performed at legendary venues such as La MaMa ETC, Nuyorican Poets Café, NYC Summerstage, NJPac and SXSW to name a few.
