The Larches are an alt/ sludge metal band from the North East of England. Bringing their ‘fat’ and ‘heavy’ sound everywhere they go the band consists of: George Moss (drums) Alfie Murphy (bass) Noah Annandale (vocals) Joel Hardwick (rhythm-guitar) Sonny Evans (lead-guitar). The Larches officially started playing as a five piece in early 2023. The band released an EP In February 2024, and then went on to develop a heavier style. From there, The Larches have crafted their sound and style playing countless gigs all around the North of the UK and really cementing their name into the roots of the local music scene. The single Equilibrium was released in June 2025, a track that really sets the tone and direction the band is heading. Artists such as Acid Bath, Deftones and Queens of the Stone Age are now a clear influence, and you can hear this on the band’s latest material delivered in the form of a Double A-Side that included the tracks Ego Death & The Skin I Live In, the tracks received some great reviews and airtime across the UK and Europe. "Skin ups the riffage for an incendiary romp that would stop a marauding army in its tracks" The Crack Magazine. The band have recently been hitting the studio, fine tuning their live show and you can expect to hear big riffs, intense vocals and a heavy wall of sound.

The Larches
The Larches are a band formed in Teesside, and have been playing as a five piece ever since early 2023. They draw influences from a plethora of bands, such as Queens of the Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, Black Flag, Korn, The Libertines, Rage Against the Machine, IDLES, The Strokes and Pantera, among many others. They currently gig around the Teesside area such as the Georgian Theatre, The Studio and NE Volume Bar and other places of notice. The five-piece started off in a more indie rock direction, but are slowly moving to a heavier, punkier direction.
