The Niche Family
The Niche Family, originate from Rutherglen, Scotland and Toronto, Canada. Former members of the Glasgow Freak Folk ensemble, The Hoojamamas, brothers Stuart and Andrew Neil joined up with Lauren Thompson to form the band following an impromptu jam session that arose from the celebration of Stuart and Lauren's wedding in 2021. The trio focus on close vocal harmonies and strong songwriting drawing from Folk, Americana and Country influences.
