Jolly Damper

Jolly Damper is the project led by Joan Solana, a Catalan musician and producer. Based in the heart of the Penedès, surrounded by vineyards, his creative space fuels his work, bridging the gap between rural inspiration and urban energy. Drawing from a mix of IDM, dreamy pop, jazz, techno, trip-hop, and experimental ambient, his sound constantly evolves.

His latest album, set for release in 2026, shifts towards electronic music, with Nick Grimes contributing vocals once again, bringing a unique fusion of past and future sounds. For this upcoming performance, Jolly Damper and Nick Grimes will perform a blend of songs from their earlier collaborations—tracks that showcase his vocal artistry—and new interpretations adapted for a live band. The performance will feature Nick Grimes (vocals/guitar), Victor Solana (drums), and Jolly Damper (synths), offering a dynamic mix of old and new, with electronic textures and live instrumentation intertwining.
