We began on 30th July 2016, and quickly became the go-to Professional Wrestling promotion in Newcastle-upon Tyne, and the wider North East of England. In 2022, we have announced our first trip outside of the area and will host our first Pro Wrestling event in Sheffield, at the Southbank Warehouse. NORTH Wrestling NCL prides itself on a passionate and inclusive fanbase, a raucous and up-close atmosphere, a welcoming community, and overall, the best Wrestling you’ll see in Britain, if not the world. Over the past 6 years, we have seen our 2 x champion Rory Coyle in the PWI500 top wrestler’s list for 2018. We’ve hosted the likes of current AEW favourite Eddie Kingston. ROH alumni Mark Haskins, Session Moth Martina and Joe Hendry have passed through our doors regularly. Defiant/WCPW favourites Martin Kirby, Joe Hendry, and Joseph Conners, also became regulars at NORTH. World-renowned fan favourites like Sugar Dunkerton (Chikara), Kris Wolf (Stardom), Chris Brookes (DDT), Cara Noir (Progress, wXw), and Gabriel Kidd (NJPW). We have also seen the current WWE and NXT UK stars grace the NORTH NCL canvas on their way to the top - Butch (Pete Dunne), Duedrop (Viper), Amir Jordan, Flash Morgan Webster, Teoman (Lucky Kid) Rampage Brown, A-Kid, Mark Coffey, Dani Luna, Dave Mastiff, Eddie Dennis, Isla Dawn, Saxon Huxley, and Tyler Bate. We also have a host of world-class out-of-ring members of staff on our team - Cultaholic’s very own Tom Campbell teams up with his good friend, Maffew Gregg (Yes - of Botchamania fame!) on commentary, on every single one of our shows.
