The Fron @ The New Vic

Each Christmas, the acclaimed Fron Male Voice Choir brings their cherished tradition to the New Vic Theatre, creating one of the region’s most anticipated seasonal highlights. With a legacy spanning over three decades at the venue, the Fron’s Christmas concert stands as the choir’s favourite event of the year—a grand finale to twelve months of dedicated rehearsal and performances across the UK and internationally.

Renowned for their distinctive sound and heartfelt connection with audiences, the choir has earned top honours, including four wins of the Male Voice Section at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod, triumphing over choirs from across Wales, England, and beyond. Their trophy cabinet is filled with competition successes, and their performances are celebrated for bringing the spirit of Wales to all corners of the globe.

This year’s concert features a special guest appearance by The Three Legg'd Mare, a dynamic Welsh folk trio, adding an authentic and festive touch to the evening.
