Big Bang Love

Three acclaimed UK singer-songwriters,Daisy Chute, Hollie Rogers and Ed Blunt, join forces for an extra special co-headline show, featuring their genre-blurring, captivating songs and multi-instrumental talents.

Fans of Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, Joan Armatrading, Debbie Harry, Randy Newman and the like won't want to miss this!

These three accomplished songwriters have individually worked with the likes of Radiohead, Beth Nielsen-Chapman, Judie Tzuke, and more, and they are no strangers to high-profile festivals like Glastonbury. In this unique show, they will all share the stage for the duration, swapping instruments as they share songs and stories in the round. The setlist will comprise a mix of their individual solo material played as a trio, a few carefully chosen covers, some with a Christmas flavour, and songs they have penned together as a writing partnership.

Expect a blend of storytelling, humour, and outstanding musicianship from these three friends and collaborators - plus new songs from each of their most recent projects.

Ed Blunt

Ed Blunt appearing at this event

Ed Blunt’s music evokes classic Tin Pan Alley songwriting with a lyricism that reaches from the introspective to the universal. From cinematic stories of men on the moon to the folklore of his home city, his songs paint a rich tapestry with soul-stirring melodies that linger long after listening. A jazz and classically trained pianist who earned his stripes on the London scene, his album ‘Over the Moon’ marks Blunt’s debut release as an independent artist. Blunt started writing his own music in earnest during the lockdown of 2020, during which he was discovered by Chris Difford of legendary band Squeeze, who describes Blunt’s writing as “brilliant”.
