Chump’s Comedy favourite Rob Auton joins forces with JFAbraham of Public Service Broadcasting to blend evocative spoken word with thrilling sound. After wowing audiences at last Summer’s End Of The Road festival, they’re bound to make you laugh, cry and reflect.

Rob Auton

Rob is a London-based performer, artist, writer, poet and comedian. He is a Dave’s Funniest Joke Of The Fringe award-winner and Glastonbury’s Poet In Residence. Every year he picks a subject that is important to him and writes an hour long show about it. So far he has done The Yellow Show, The Sky Show, The Face Show, The Water Show, The Sleep Show and the Hair Show. His work has been played on the radio by Jarvis Cocker, Cerys Matthews and Scroobius Pip and shown on the television by BBC1, BBC 2 and Channel 4. JF Abraham

Multi-instrumentalist, composer, orchestrator and conductor, JFAbraham enjoys a varied career with high quality collaboration at its heart. Based in South London he has toured and recorded extensively with Public Service Broadcasting, for whom he contributed string and wind arrangements for the albums “The Race for Space”, “Every Valley” and “Bright Magic”. In addition to touring internationally, the band have performed twice at the BBC Proms, firstly in 2019 and again in 2022, with JFAbraham’s orchestral arrangements accompanying “The Race for Space” and “This New Noise”, a new commission performed by PSB, the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Jules Buckley. He also contributes regularly to the Grammy nominated band Bastille, touring and recording as a trumpet player and arranging brass, winds and strings on the number one albums “Wild World” and “Give Me the Future”. In 2020 he reimagined the bands back catalogue for Re:Orchestrated and went on to conduct a sold out performance at the London Palladium. Recent clients and collaborators include: BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, Blue Lab Beats, Eurovision, Netflix, The Baltic Sea Philharmonic and Kristjan Järvi, Old Dirty Brasstards and Neoteric Ensemble.
