When the sun sets, we turn the heat all the way up. The Afters is where Margate Pride gets loud, sweaty, and gloriously queer. Think pulsing bass, bodies in motion, drag that bites, and live sets that’ll leave you gasping. We’re serving the finest queer talent from Margate and beyond, for a night of heat, hedonism, and no-holds-barred celebration. This isn’t just a party, it’s a riot in heels, a love letter to queer nightlife, and The Afters you’ll be talking about all year. Dress to express, come to sweat, stay ‘til the lights come up.

Jaguar
Jaguar exudes positivity: it’s positively part of her DNA. She enjoys the company of fellow music-loving humans and has a can-do attitude that’s seen her traverse various areas of the music industry, from radio production and party promoter to writer, presenter and of course as a DJ both on Radio 1 and across Europe as part of her burgeoning DJ career on the road and in the rave. An active member of the LGBTQ+ community, she’s just launched her own party brand Utopia - a perfect moment of togetherness, colourful sounds and friendly faces - which, like almost everything she’s involved with, she’s super-excited about.

Queer House Party
Renowned for iconic, queer throwdowns Queer House Party is a DJ collective, community platform and award-winning LGBTIQ+ party that brings you the best drag, performers, and DJs from London and beyond. A year on from their first party on the eve of lockdown, they've built a substantial online following and have pioneered a new form of radical, accessible party that can be joined IRL or online. Queer House Party keeps their politics and activism central to their events, creating a space that is not only accessible for the whole LGBTIQ+ community, but puts issues they care about to the front. Mostly, they think raving and kicking off go hand-in-hand, and they’re here to show you how.

Tom Rasmussen
Tom Rasmussen’s debut album Body Building (Globe Town Records 2023) fuses dark dance music with an aesthetic and live performance that takes influence from their past life in drag. Born and raised in Lancashire, Tom moved to London where they fell into the world of drag, performing everywhere from the Royal Opera House to Glastonbury. Although their drag alter ego Crystal was distinct for singing live, it wasn’t until Rasmussen started writing their own music that their performance persona began to change, revealing more of themselves. Thus came their debut album Body Building, an album that pierces the skin with its falsetto vocals and moments of queer euphoria punctuated by acoustic instrumentation. Having already toured with Rina Sawayama and Self Esteem, Tom Rasmussen has already made waves with audiences across the UK. Especially with their single Dysphoria, the inimitably catchy, powerful yet poignant ode to their experience with their body.
