After honing their live performances in Manchester’s numerous small venues, art rock trio Valetta, released their brooding debut single Irregular Low in late 2020, followed quickly by the heavily syncopated prog-anthem Dead to the World, which established the band’s electronic-infused psychedelic sound and conceptual lyrical themes. The band’s third single Juggernauts saw them add cynical observations about the corrosive and addictive nature of the news cycle to their established blend of intense psychedelia.
