Kara Grainger

A native of Australia who now lives in California, Kara Grainger blues singer/guitarist draws inspiration from the blues of America. Kara may draw initial comparisons to Bonnie Raitt who both play slide guitar and sing soulfully - but she bears her own distinctive style, one that evenly balances the blues with soul and roots and rock Her latest album continues to hold a strong presence in the International blues charts and her tours and appearances throughout the world are growing by the month and her appearance at the Southern Pavilion looks to be a really exciting night.

Paolo Fuschi

Paolo Fuschi was born in Sicily, Italy where he lived until the age of 22. During these years Paolo developed a strong passion for Blues guitar and he performed with several artists in the music scene of Palermo, his home city. In 2002 Paolo moved to Manchester to study Popular Music and Recording at Salford University, where he graduated in 2006. In the meantime Paolo experienced the variety of Manchester music scene by playing at jam sessions around the city. During this time he discovered and absorbed many musical genres such as Funk, Soul, Jazz and Reggae. This intense musical journey led him to develop his guitar skills towards those genres and, as well, Paolo started to experiment his singer-songwriter skills.
