Amber Mark

RnB singer-songwriter based in Manhattan, Amber started out her career by covering a song by Sade. This soon met with the seal of approval from her 80's idol. Amber takes her inspiration from an eclectic mix of artists, ranging from the more well known (the aforementioned Sade, A Tribe Called Quest and Ella Fitzgerald), to the slightly more experimental (jazz saxophonist Stan Getz and Ravi Shankar). To put it in a nutshell, Mark describes her sound as "a mix of alternative R&B mixed with a little tribal and topped off with a little soul."
